Mind giving an example of a set of templates which would use this?

Given that the Parsing team are planning to deprecate (at least) unbalanced templates, I'm de-prioritising this.

Deprecating this won't do good. Such templates are state of the art in list article editing, are used in most English Wikipedia articles in the references in which <references/> or <references>... </references> is replaced by templates for a couple of years.

Mind stop developping for a couple of months and do editing for a better understanding how editors work, think, and what is needed mostly?
