Note I'm not sure if that is really useful or not. I think it was from the early Logstash days when I was filing "send X to Logstash" for everything I could think of.

I'm not sure how useful that is. The stream events are more accessible to users where they're at :)

I could image use cases such as quickly finding out patches that got merged over a given time frame or creating some kind of dynamic dashboard of reviews.

Unless there is a real incentive to have the events in logstash / ElasticSearch maybe we should just decline this task?

Yeah, but it's all hidden in Kibana where nobody can use it without an NDA. I'd much rather see someone build an open dashboard with this data :)
