I am running mediawiki 1.23 wmf 20 and have updated all my extension to this new version as of yesterday. and also the search bar does not give results too. I use the full site.

Have you brought this up (link welcome) on https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Project:Support_desk already to make sure it's not an issue with your configuration?

when on mediawiki and wikipedia

On which Wikipedia? There are a few language versions out there.
Exact links to reproduce are welcome.

No it on the Mediawiki site and wikipedia and all the other sites that use wikieditor

And I tried saying it on project support but I am not sure if someone responded.

Please answer comment 3.

And I tried saying it on project support

site here the link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lovefilm

Did you mean https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=LoveFilm&action=edit ? If so, attaching a screenshot here is welcome.

screenshot where it says secreate shot

I don't know what "secrete" means here.

I am also surprised to see that you don't get the mobile interface on http://en.m.wikipedia.org but instead http://en.wikipedia.org instead.

I do get the mobile but I just click desktop and sorry is misspelled screenshot where it says secreate it means screenshot sorry.

And also search bar doesn't work on mobile. It doesent bring up suggestion. You can only type in and search but it won't bring up suggestions.

One issue per ticket only.

The WikiEditor configuration has explicitly blacklisted iphone and ipod from running the script.

http://git.wikimedia.org/blob/mediawiki%2Fextensions%2FWikiEditor/9383e965ccbb143dca8ee3dc896c92a7453b7313/modules%2Fjquery.wikiEditor.js#L44

That means it was probably broken at some time, and was thus disabled. It might be working in newer versions of iOS, but no one ever invested time to figure out in which versions it works.

Ok it does not work currently on ios 7 .

Hi could you please remove iPhone and iPod from the blacklist please

Reason:
We're only doing security backports for 1.22 now; features go to master and maybe 1.23 if they're hugely compelling.
