At the hackathon in Zurich there is going to be work done on a "production-like" Vagrant roles, which will include Varnish.

It would be nice for MediaWiki-Vagrant to optionally tell you what hits or misses the cache locally, such as via a popup visually or via the browser console.

This seems like a core or extension feature request rather than something that is in the scope of MediaWiki-Vagrant.
