Description:
After udating to Wiki V.1.7.1 and PHP Version 5.1.4-0.1 the thumbnails where created
with the wrong permission: 600 instead of 644 so they can't be read by the browser.
Has anybody the same problme or better a solution?

We've upgraded php and mediawiki a number of times and I can't say with certainty when this started happening.
Directory mode on creation can be configured with $wgDirectoryMode. I can't find any reason the thumbs would be made with 600, going to close as WFM.
