Upload wizard should allow batch naming/renaming options, especially for flickr mode
Open, LowPublicFeature

Description

Files coming from flickr often come with meaningless default names and at the present there are very few options for batch renaming so one has to go and alter each file name separately. The issue is less of a problem with regular UploadWizard since then you can use your desktop tools (like MS Office Picture Manager I use) to rename files prior to upload.

The current option is to replace all file names with a single name with automatic numbering. I would like to extend it to: allowing to append/prepend/replace existing file name with a string. Also allow to add automatic numbering with preset number of digits (and possibly starting at numbers other than "1"), at the beginning or end of the current name.

This bug sucks also for local batch uploads (desktop or mobile) when you have 20 images and have to fill name and description for all of them. Though at least the Commons android app can already do it.

And here we go again. Commons-power-users are really annoyed by this bug and yet WMF was not able to fix it in more than 7 years... There clearly is something wrong with the non-profit organization. This fix is probably few lines of code in JavaScript yet it has not been delivered since many years. Quite weird priorities.
