Re-enablement of webfonts for English Wikisource
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Hi Runa and team,

We talked briefly at WM2014 about since the move from webfonts to the new font presentation scheme, that there is no longer a [[w:en:blackletter]] equivalent to [http://unifraktur.sourceforge.net/maguntia.html UnifrakturMaguntia]. English Wikisource was using it in [[s:en:Template:Blackletter]].

You can see an example of its expected presentation at [[s:en:Page:The Army and Navy Hymnal.djvu/12]]

Thanks for whatever you can do to remedy this situation.

Following conversation with WMF's Internationalization & Localization team, I am altering this request to be more holistic by "Re-enablement of webfonts for English Wikisource" rather than focusing on solely the fraktur type fonts, which was the result of heWS's request referred to in #comment 1

Feel free to revert to smaller approach if that is your preference after internal conversation.

Webfont should be enabled in English Wikisource with recent merge.

PRETTY! Many thanks, the community appreciates your efforts.
