Enable ULS webfonts by default at dv wikis
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

FreeFontThana (on ULS) is much better than the default "ugly" font. Please enable ULS webfonts by default at dvwikis. There is no active community but I announced this at both dvwiki and dvwiktionary.

Is it also possible to change font size in ULS? or should this be done with modifications to site-wide CSS? Currently, the font size seems to be a bit small.

Patch was merged - assuming this bug is FIXED. If that is not the case: Please reopen and elaborate what is left to do here to get this report fixed.

This does not actually do what I expected. I expected that FreeFontThana be enabled on by default instead of the default font. Currently, one has to manually set the FreeFontThana in the settings panel for it to be enabled.

Glaisher: Could you please file a separate followup ticket under ULS and make it "block" bug 53015? Thanks!

Hi Glaisher,

Could you please check the user preferences for your account and verify again? We tested as anonymous users and can see FreeFontThana enabled by default (screenshot attached). Thanks.

I've tested this both logged in and logged out: same result. Perhaps the font needs to be defined for the body in Common.css for it to take effect?
