Type "Testing" and then type "Create or edit"
Add some data:
- Type: unknown
- Title: Bug
- Author: CAPTCHA
Save page
Answer the question "What is the largest wiki encyclopedia?" with "Wikipedia"
Save page (again)

I'm not able to finish the process. It alwas go back to step 5. I also tried answering "English Wikipedia" and "wikipedia".

The wiki is running MediaWiki 1.23.1 (d6cd076) and ConfirmEdit 1.1 (r114869), according to

http://wikipapers.referata.com/wiki/Special:SiteSettings#mw-prefsection-privacy (restricted access) is set to public/open/open i.e. least restrictive referata setting.

This is nine years old, so I'm not sure if it is worth it to keep this ticket open at this point. Reading the description this clearly is an interaction with the Page Forms extension.

I think it's better if this were to be closed and if there is any current issue, people can open a new ticket ?

Wow - I don't think I had seen this one before. It does seem to be related to Page Forms, but I'm not aware of any current issues with Page Forms and ConfirmEdit, so I'm guessing that whatever problem the person was seeing has been fixed since then.

I think the problem is that https://github.com/wikimedia/mediawiki-extensions-PageForms/blob/39b6cba98b6af029cb0f891f8d7b96b8d2e7c609/specials/PF_FormStart.php does not support ConfirmEdit, while FormEdit does https://github.com/wikimedia/mediawiki-extensions-PageForms/commit/78ce712807bfda849d262ad9c9c59c6f282c920b

What makes you think that there's a problem at all?
