Originally filed at:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cuneiform#Syllabary displayd correctly with ULS fonts (languages > gear > fonts > download fonts) but I get tofu on PDF.

As already announced in Tech News, OfflineContentGenerator (OCG) will not be used anymore after October 1st, 2017 on Wikimedia sites. OCG will be replaced by Electron. You can read more on mediawiki.org.

Cannot reproduce a problem anymore with current Proton and Electron-PDFs:
On current https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Cuneiform&oldid=1009107568 , using "Download as PDF", the characters in the section "Sumero-Akkadian cuneiform" are now correctly rendered, and the table under "Syllabary" is now included, and it also renders the characters correctly.
No problems anymore.

Declining this task as OCG has been dead for years and superseded by Proton and Electron-PDFs on Wikimedia servers.
