Description

en:Overline PDF

In the attached PDF, "In Microsoft Word, overstriking of text can be" etc. shows no overline on "xyz".

HTML rendered by MediaWiki parser and Parsoid looks well for me in Firefox 32 on fedora 20:

As already announced in Tech News, OfflineContentGenerator (OCG) will not be used anymore after October 1st, 2017 on Wikimedia sites. OCG will be replaced by Electron. You can read more on mediawiki.org.

This is fixed on Wikimedia servers nowadays:
Going to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Overline#Word_processors and selecting "Download as PDF", and scrolling to that section, the xyz has an overline. This is related to removing OCG-PDFRenderer/OfflineContentGenerator and replacing it with Proton and Electron-PDFs as the new PDF rendering stack on Wikimedia servers.

Declining this task as it is about the OfflineContentGenerator backend which has been dead for years and has been superseded by Proton and Electron-PDFs on Wikimedia servers.
