Steps to reproduce:

1.Open a page with VE
2.Open the basic reference dialog
3.Place the cursor inside the field "Use the group"
4.Type something or keep it empty while the drop down is open.
5.Place cursor somehwhere else in the dialog to close it

Observed Result:
The drop down box does not get closed

Ugh yeah this is because it's in the outer overlay :(
