Confirmed by testing.

Same cause as bug 72345?

Email sending works well with HHVM off.

Email receiving with HHVM on from somebody with HHVM off is OK.

1. Enable HHVM
2. Go to https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spezial:E-Mail_senden/Raymond (or any other user with enabled wikimail function)
3. Fill in form
4. Click on "send"
