If I change the sort-order of a board, all the root topic reply-areas are expanded.

New topic not opening properly

Also the "Start a new topic" fields don't expand when clicked.

Yup, seems important. No errors reported. (You may have to shift-Reload or ?debug=1 to get latest behavior on beta labs.)

Change 169625 had a related patch set uploaded by Mattflaschen:
