Just to know:

"|]]" is used to "escape" the "first" prefix.
There is the question what happens
a) if there is no first prefix as for [[foo|]], [[foo||]], [[foo|||]], ...
and [[foo| ]], [[foo|| ]], ... (the last "clean links", see [[meta:Clean
linking]]).
b) if more then one prefix should be escaped [[wiktionary:en:Main Page||]],
[[wiktionary:en:Main Page|||]], ... (could probably be equivalent to
[[wiktionary:en:Main Page|Main Page]]).

template was used in a sig.

Inclusion of now*k* in sigs seems to be problematical as well because a different behaviour
as mentioned at bug 885 is experienced. With this knowledge v*nd*l*sm is just a matter of
opening a page, four keystrokes and saving.

Please let me know if such issues should be reported here or not.

preview? Re: comment #1: there's nothing you
can do in a nick signature that you can't type
manually.
