Allow Special:Export to work with converted aliases (for Chinese, Kazakh, ...)
Closed, DeclinedPublicFeature

Description

Author: andreengels

Description:
It happens to me quite often that an existing page title on the Chinese
Wikipedia cannot be found using Special:Export. My suspicion is that it happens
when one specifies the page title using traditional characters. I'm reporting
this because it causes trouble with the interwiki bot, which will falsely think
that an interwiki link is going to a non-existing page

Only the real title works with Special:Export, not converted aliases.

No reason we don't want Special:Export to work with aliases, though, right? (Not that I'm
volunteering to patch it.)

Mass compoment change: <some> -> Export/Import

per T11419#143928, Special:Export to work with converted aliases, this is likely to have some unexpected problems. This should be done after converting the title on the bot script side and proceeding to the next step, for example Special:Export.

Closed as declined: This should fix by the interlanguage-link side.
