As a board member of Wikimedia Ukraine (and the third on the list of admins) I ask you to put it on hold - we did discuss creation of such list but did not reach a consensus yet.

This should be created. But admins list should be different:

could be either Wikimedia-${country}-l, Wikimedia${country}-l and ${country} is not necessarily upper or lower case

We already have wikimediaUA@lists.wikimedia.org. And this should be different and have name wikimediaUA-announce@lists.wikimedia.org.

right, I was only talking about how the existing list names were chosen. (from looking at https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo )

Wikimedia-UA-Announce created though I don't have an enormous issue trying to get a redirect or something if we can. That seems to make sense since renaming seems to be slow and rare and I don't want to confuse people in the name of a new naming convention.

director@wikimediaukraine.org.ua got the password from the system, it should be shared with the other list admins (I added all of the other emails to the system but they need the password to access).
